Driven by Passion While Fighting For Change.
With personal experience gained over many years, alongside increasingly targeted research efforts, the team at K9Lives understands that the road ahead is paved with challenges. A greater effort is required to accelerate the intervention to a pace that allows us to beat the curve, while reducing the misery of our four-legged friends as quickly as possible.
We have immersed ourselves in this life-changing mission, with hands-on advocacy efforts and outreach programmes that align with our growth-oriented goals, targets and objectives. We strive to be a vehicle for change, and we are proud to imagine a world where animals are treated with respect, dignity and empathy, while also gaining the opportunity to live the healthy life they deserve.
When powerful voices come together to take action, powerful change happens.
Resigned acceptance is not the answer.
Impactful change is the solution.
Many around the world desire to help, but simply don’t know where to start. They may believe that the problem is too big to fix, or too widespread to be solved. They may feel hopeless and helpless, mistakenly believing that just one person cannot make a difference.
We strongly believe that each step forward is a step in the right direction. YOU can help us make a difference, beginning today.
The Team
Sandipa – Founder and Trustee

Sandipa is the Founder and Trustee of K9Lives. She was born in Malawi a beautiful and peaceful part of Africa. Her love and emphathy for animals was plain to see. During her trips to India with the family she often disappeared to feed the strays and pups much to the annoyance of the locals. She moved to the United Kingdom and took a keen interest in the local Animal Charities and work they carried out. Having donated to a number of Charities over the years, she felt that animals in rural areas were being neglected and wanted to address it and decided to set up a Charity of her own and in 2021 the Charity K9Lives was established.
Karolina – Veterinary Surgeon and Trustee

Karolina is a Veterinary Surgeon with 10 years of experience in small animal medicine. She moved to the United Kingdom in 2015 and joined a Practice in London. Having worked in London for a number of years, she now lives in a beautiful part of the Peak District with its breath taking scenery. Her love for the outdoors means that she doesn’t have far to travel to enjoy nature, it’s all on her doorstep. Her love for animals stems from her childhood and their welfare has always been a top priority. Karolina joined K9Lives as a Trustee in 2021 and helps make a difference by providing her vast veterinary experience and knowledge at an advisory level.
Rovina – Administrator and Trustee

Rovina has worked for a number of different Organisations, from Corporate to Charitable and is currently working at Macmillan Cancer Support in a delivery, operations role. She brings her vast knowledge and skills that K9Lives has already benefited from. She is an ardent supporter of many charities and firmly believes in supporting fellow humans and our four-legged friends. She has taken time to volunteer at GOSH and several other charities. Her compassion towards them and her belief that all must be treated with care, love, and respect makes Rovina a valuable ambassador. Rovina joined K9Lives as a Trustee in 2021.
Ajay – Finance Director

Ajay is an Accountant by profession having worked both in Practice and the Corporate Sector over the last 40 years. He is self-employed and makes time to participate and get involved in Charities close to his heart such as the British Heart Foundation, GOSH, and of course K9Lives. In his earlier years, Ajay had a fear of animals borne out of a bad experience but over time, he has overcome this having seen the joy and love they bring. Ajay is the Finance Director of K9Lives.
