With a donation of as little as £10.00, you can change the life of a vulnerable homeless animal.
Our goal is to provide dependable, reliable, and accessible sterilisation and vaccination programmes for animals born on the streets of India, while enhancing education for residents of rural communities. Although there are Animal Birth Control Programmes in place, the vast majority are poorly run and understaffed, with the inability to handle the escalating number of stray animals that roam the streets, due to lack of funding, resources, training and proper protocol, many existing sterilisation and vaccination centres are unhygienic leading to poor animal welfare, and in extreme cases post surgery complications, illness or even death.
By ensuring proper protocol, funding and access to a wealth of resources through meaningful partnerships with other organisations, K9Lives truly believes that the landscape can be changed forever.
Compassion knows no boundaries . Together we can break through barriers and make a difference. Not just for today but for many years to come.
We are proud of our accomplishments thus far, and we look forward to achieving the future goals that we have set for our organisation.
Our Present and Future Goals
To continue the funding of the Sterilisation and Rabies Programme to achieve a greater and deeper impact, as without these projects, many stray animals will continue to suffer cruelty, malnourishment and disease.
To fund projects in rural areas where the dog and cat population are growing at a tremendous speed due in large part to the lack of Veterinary Services available.
To continue advancing our achievement of vaccinating dogs in local shelters, by providing mobile vaccinations in the streets of rural communities, and seeking assistance from local residents and caretakers.
To provide vaccination and worming for litters of pups born on the streets, in order to give them the protection they need in their young lives.
To lead the charge as one of the first organisations in Uttarakhand to provide spaying of stray cats by partnering with the Humane Society India and the NGO from the shelter supported by K9Lives.
Support the Mission of K9Lives Today
Your financial support will help create a better world for the vulnerable stray animal population in India.
A donation of only £10 could provide vaccinations and worming for a single dog. A generous monthly donation could provide ongoing care and support for stray animal veterinary care, vaccinations and widespread sterilisation efforts.
